Ed and Loretta Greene (New Mexico) will be leading SBDR Incident Management training March 19-21, 2026, in Kennewick, WA. NWBDR is inviting SBDR Region 1 to participate. Ed and Loretta provide excellent teaching that is comparable to a combined ICS-300/400 level training. In order to get maximum benefit from the training, we are encouraging participants to complete FEMA’s IS-100: Introduction to the Incident Command System and IS-200: Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response before attending training. [IS-700: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System is also helpful.]

Being able to support Disaster Ready churches in NW is one of our major reasons for this training. With multiple churches being able to respond to a disaster event in a given area, NWBDR being able to support those churches with incident management greatly enhances the effectiveness of their ministries. Helping people recovering from disaster grow in relationship with Christ.

Hillview Baptist Church, Kennewick, WA will host the training. Pasco-Kennewick Airport (PSC) is the closest airport. You will want to arrive by Wednesday evening, March 18. Daniel Arnold is the team leader for the training.
